Feargal has composed music for the (RSC) Royal Shakespeare Company's acclaimed production of "The Rape of Lucrece", arranged for the Irish Film Orchestra, Irish Concert Orchestra and the Orchestra of Ireland.
He has co-written with legendary Irish songwriter Jimmy Mac Carthy, and has written music to the words of Pulitzer prize-winning Poet Paul Muldoon. He also co-wrote/arranged on Moya Brennan's (Voice of Clannad) Grammy-nominated album "Two Horizons”.
He is long-time producer/arranger/MD/pianist for Camille O'sullivan. In 2021 he produced, arranged and played on No.1 Irish Itunes Charts song "Orphan Girl" for rising star Nicola O'Haire. In 2022 he is releasing a piano-vocal based album of Brendan Graham songs with Cathy Jordan (Voice of Dervish), which he arranged, produced, and played on.
Along with internationally successful Australian songwriter Paul Kelly he composed music for musical theatre piece "Ancient Rain", which was nominated for an Australian Helpmann Award in 2017. He composed music for an adaptation of James Joyce's "The Dead", performed by actor Aidan Gillen at London's Globe Theatre and directed by Conor Mc Pherson.
He was Music Co-ordinator/House band member for a 3 year RTE TV music series 'Coulter and Company". He has also been Musical Director on London's West End.
He has performed on numerous radio and tv programmes, including "Later..with Jools Holland", "The Late Late Show" and "Good Morning America".
He has toured extensively, playing such venues as Radio City Music hall, The Greek Theatre and Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Celtic Woman, Carnegie hall with Phil Coulter, The Royal Albert Hall, Festival Hall and London's Roundhouse with Camille O'Sullivan, Dublin's National Concert Hall with Liam O'Flynn, as well as playing at George Best's funeral back home in the North of Ireland.
